Now the self-tensioning Konig are going to be a great way, if you don't want to have to deal with a lot of hassle of actually getting our chains on our tires. Now the installation doesn't take too much time at all. In fact, you only have one little back connection that's actually easily made from the front. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. So we're gonna have these cross chains going over and they're all gonna have square links rather big square links. So this is gonna be great for superior traction on the road. And we do have cam tensioners as well, which I really like these just because you can really get it really tight with our it's just using the lever. We have some others that don't have cam tensioners and they're does not near as tight as the ones with. more

What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain and there gonna be twist links, but with V-Bar on top of them. So if you are looking for the most aggressive tire chain you can put on these tires, this is pretty much gonna be it. The nice thing about him is, they're gonna be extremely aggressive in that really really hard ice, really thick ice or deep snow. Sometimes, you have deep snow, and then ice underneath of it these are definitely gonna get you out of those slippery situations. more

These are going to be a really nice option, if you're looking for just a light duty chain to help you out in the snow, especially if you have just a two-wheel drive truck. The back end is going to slide around quite a bit. I'm sure you've experienced that before, but these will do a good job of grabbing into some snow or some ice and giving you a little bit better traction to get you going down the road a little bit safer.Now all chains that you put on your tires are going to give you some sort of traction, but what separates these are a couple of different things, and that's how easy they are to install. All right. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Twist Link Snow Tire Chains on our 2019 Ford Expedition. These chains, I would recommend for you if you're going to be in a very deep snow situation, not so much the ice. We do have some that come with ice spikes on the top, but these are going to give you a better ride, a relatively smoother ride because of the twist links that we have up here as compared to the square links on some other chains.So if we want to come closer and take a look, all right, so as we can see right here, a closer to look at these twist links that are going to let you drive on the road without a lot of that jarring going on. We can also see that this is a ladder-style chain, so that's going to help with stopping and acceleration to give you that extra traction that you need in that deep snow situation. These are constructed of a low carbon steel, so they are going to resist rust and corrosion pretty well. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan V-Bar style chains with cams on our 2019 Ford Expedition.So a couple of things I wanted to point out on these chains are these V-bars or ice spikes. These are going to be for your more aggressive situations like when you're out taking a trip up to the mountains or you live in an area where you have a lot of snow or ice that builds up. As you can see, these are twizzling style, so that's going to keep these from getting damaged as you're driving. But since they are V-bars, you want to make sure you're only using them in the most extreme situations.Down here we have our cam tighteners and they're just going to help us get these all tightened up with the included tool. However, we do recommend you pick up a pair of additional tighteners just in case it's going to help you as you're driving down the road as well to keep them centered on your tire. more

So our Knig tire chains here are going to be an excellent option for our Ford Explorer. What really sets these apart from the competitors is, number one, they are super easy to install, probably the easiest to install tire chains that we offer. They're self-tensioning as well, which means we don't have to make any adjustments after our initial install, whereas other chains would require us to make adjustments after we've drove around a little bit and the chains have adjusted. However, these self-tensioning tire chains won't require that, because everything is done automatically, which means you don't have to worry about doing this yourself.So in addition to the self tensioning mechanism, I really liked these particular tire chains for a few other reasons. I've already got them installed, just to give you a good idea of what they look like.As you can see, it features a ladder pattern. This is gonna be great for starts and stops when driving in those wintry conditions. Those square links are gonna help bite down into that ice and give you great traction. Now, one great thing about those square links is they're gonna wear a lot more evenly, compared to the other styles out there. Today on our 2018 Ford Mustang, we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install these Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains. This is a great product for your vehicle to help you get through any type of light snow and ice. What makes these great is that you're not gonna have to get behind your tire at all, you're don't have to lay on the ground and reach behind, make a connection point, and then come up top and reach behind your tire to connect it back there. You're gonna be able to do everything from the front.It sits just in the center tread of your tire all the way around and no further back, which works out great for Mustang owners because, let's be honest, you know the investment you made in it, you wanna make sure that you have the least chance possible of damaging your tire or your vehicle.It uses an assembly to latch onto the lug nut. It basically just clamps down on top of it and then holds itself in place. From there, you just tighten it down with this ratchet strap and then it sucks itself onto the tire.These chains are great for any vehicle, like our Mustang, that has low wheel well clearance. more

Today on 2018 Ford Fusion, you're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to be showing you how to install, the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains. Keep in mind, we will be installing these on tire size 235/45 R18.This is what our chains look like when they are installed. What's going to set these apart from other styles out there, like your ladder patterns, is they're going to give you more tire coverage and better traction when turning corners. You'll notice we're going to have d-link style chains. You'll see we have two flat sides on each link, which is going to give you more surface to surface contact between the chain and the roadway.What's nice about these chains, it's going to be color-coated for ease of installation, and the coating's going to prevent it from being cold to the touch. The chains are going to have a thirty mile-per-hour speed rating, SAE Class S rated for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, come in a quantity of two, come with a nice carrying case for easy storage.If you're only using two chains, you want to make sure they're on the steering side of the vehicle. more

Titan Chain Cable Tire Chains Review - 2018 Ford Flex- Video
Today on our 2018 Ford Flex, we're going to be doing a test run on the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number TC2029, and that's going to be on tire size 25545R20. These Titan snow tire chains are SAE class S chains. They're designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, so they're going to work out perfectly for our Ford Flex. You can see here how the chains are missing that coil spring plate so just as long as we stay within that 25 to 30 miles an hour speed limit, we're going to be just fine. Since they're low profile, they're going to provide you with a smoother ride than chains that have larger style links. They feature steel rollers forming a ladder pattern over the tire. more

The tires that we're working with today is 245, 60, R18. The twisted links form a cross bar that gives you superior traction through deep snow and ice. We have three of these cam tighteners around our chains. This is gonna help make sure that we have a snug fit on our tire. more

Today in our 2017 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Koenig self-tensioning snow tire chains. Part number TH01594250. The tire size we're working with today is 245 60 R18.What I really like about these tire chains is they're very easy to install, thanks to the color coded connection points, and they're also self-tensioning, meaning we don't have to purchase any rubber adjusters to connect all around the chain to make sure our chain stays snug against the tire. It's going to do that by itself with this system.These chains have a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern. That's going to give you more coverage around your tire and provide you with great traction through rough conditions. The steel D links are going to dig into that snow and ice and provide great traction through starts, stops and turns.The plastic coated tension points are going to make sure that it's not cold to the touch for your fingers, like other unfinished metal chains are. more

This is what our tire chains look like when they're installed. The square links form cross chains, and the small link style offers for a much smoother ride.The diamond pattern design is not only going to give you more tire coverage, but it's going to give you more surface to surface contact between the chain and the roadway, making your vehicle much more easier to handle in that snow and ice. These chains are made from a manganese nickel alloy, which are corrosion resistant. They have these square links to them which provide excellent traction in both snow and ice, and have a diamond pattern to them with the chains, which covers more of the tire. This also has its own tensioning system, so you don't have to rely on any outside rubber tensioners to take care of that, or any cams that might come loose, so pretty much everything you need to install this is right here.The small links also contribute to make for a much smoother ride while you're driving in the inclement weather, and also it comes with a tote bag, so once you're finished using it, you put them in this, and then they're ready for the next time. Before we place the chains onto the tire, I laid them out on the floor like you see here, to make sure there's no kinks in the lines before we attempt to install them. more

These also have the square link design which is actually going to provide better traction in heavier snow and ice as opposed to the roller design which is better for the light snow situations.These are SAE class chains meaning they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, so they have nice low profile design to them as well. And an advantage to these, these are self-tensioning tire chains meaning you don't have to have any of the aftermarket rubber tensioners as you do with other sets of tire chains.These do come in a quantity of two and it comes with a convenient carrying case so one they are finished and dried off, you can put them in the carrying case and in your vehicle and then they are ready for next time.Today, we are a tire size 245-60-R18. We went ahead and laid the chain in front of the tire like you see it here to make sure there are no kinks in the line before we install it. This is a very easy installation process but we still recommend that you wear gloves while you install these because this can be particularly tough on the hands.Now, we can begin the installation process. We'll take the end with the yellow on it and we are actually going to push that behind the tire and wrap it around. more
